Materials and surfaces
Which version is available for which product is stated on each product page. We are happy to process other materials and material thicknesses on request.
Steel, raw
Material thickness 3 mm
For series orders, delivery is made with an untreated, raw surface. If the steel does not come into contact with extreme acids and is cared for a little, it can last well over 20 years.
Corten steel with rust patina
Material thickness 3 mm, Pure 5 mm
The patina is activated before delivery and changes with moisture and warmth. After around three years, the patina process is complete. Life expectancy of over 100 years under normal use, provided it is not exposed to extreme acids.
Stainless steel, brushed
Material thickness 2 mm, Pure 5 mm
Resistant, tough and very hard, and therefore with an almost unlimited life expectancy. For special applications, we also offer more acid-resistant types of stainless steel.
Corten steel, colour-coated
Material thickness 3 mm
After welding, coated with a high-quality, highly scratch-resistant paint finish. Available in any RAL colour.
Note on rust water: For steel and Corten steel, we recommend a rust water tray on sensitive surfaces, as rust water running down can cause stains. With Corten steel, this measure is no longer necessary after three to four years. Thanks to the ledge on the Kubisch model, rust water rarely reaches the ground.

Manufactured in one piece and ground, even in large sizes. Reinforcing struts included depending on size.

Privacy screen elements with contour cuts or a wide variety of patterns on request.

Tree and plant rings with integrated 75 mm wide mowing edge.

How does the patina develop on Corten steel?
The rust patina is activated before delivery. With alternating moisture and warmth, its appearance continues to change. After around three years, the patina process is complete, and the patina and corrosion protection are then retained.
Can rust water discolour my terrace?
Yes, rust water running down can leave stains on sensitive surfaces. For steel and Corten, we recommend a rust water tray in such places. With Corten steel, it is no longer necessary after three to four years. On the Kubisch model, the ledge keeps most rust water off the ground.
How long do the materials last?
Under normal use and without extreme acids, Corten steel offers a life expectancy of over 100 years. With a little care, steel can last well over 20 years. Stainless steel is almost indefinitely durable.
Do I need a base in the raised bed?
Raised beds are supplied without a base as standard. For mobile use or sealed surfaces, we recommend a base: water-permeable to prevent waterlogging, or watertight with inner coating and overflow pipe.
Can a planted raised bed be moved?
Yes. Lifting eyes and forklift openings allow relocation without replanting. For short distances, there is the castor set or the new MOVIO castor system with crank.

Yes. We also manufacture other dimensions, materials and colours. Send us dimensions, a sketch and the desired material.
